Behold! A Car Of Tomorrow!
Velveteen Man (A poem by A Man Of Tomorrow)
I figured that this tumblr was as good of a place as any to write down some of the old poetry that I will write in The Future. Besides, I figured that I should copy them to somewhere that isn’t an extremely tattered, old notebook written in quickly fading pencil.
In your hour of need, I will come
And comfort your dear soul
And when my duty has been done
Our trust will take the toll
You’ll say you have no need for me
And cast me from your sight
You’ll ridicule my name with glee
And mock me with delight
Although your words do burn and sear
The man who qualmed your fears
I still watch o’er you from afar
And smi-le through the tears
‘though you betrayed me without shame
I stay loyal and true
And if you ever call my name
I will still come for you
Re-posting self for the perfect relevance in my current life-situation….
just blasted my mouse and desk. MOTHERFUCKER.
I just shot a mug and my desk
which probably went through my kneecap
Oh fuck
I just shot off part of my side and into my couch. Fuck. (my hand was rolled back, resting against me… it sounds really weird but it’s comfy)
Ya’ll think that’s bad? I just shot my fucking brains out!
RIP Ropponmatsu

Intrepid Victorian explorers traversing across valiantly across the cruel, unyielding, frozen tundras of strange and fantastic new lands with a spring in their step and a pompous vigor in their hearts.
Inspiring.

Ah yes! I bet most of you didn’t know I was an actor too, did you?
This is a student-written short film clip I starred in at my University a couple of years ago… This video actually won the University-wide film award contest… and my charming co-star in this video actually went on to star in Public Enemies with Johnny Depp and Steven Dorf!

What I would do to sneak up into the torch of the Statue of Liberty… any of my followers interested in a roadtrip and a bit of mischief? =)
Here is the original photograph of Prometheus’ statue that I took in the cemetery in Paris, France.
I’ve always wondered whose memorial this was.
Another one of my all-time favorite paintings….
A stunning, framed replica on artists’ grade canvasIn the romantic tale of Cupid and Psyche, the two lovers are granted immortality by Jupiter, marry, and finally go off into the world together. This beloved piece is consistent with French artist Bouguereau’s works, which are characterized by a blend of classical subject matter and his own highly finished style of romanticized realism. Our authentic stretched canvas replica captures the original’s texture, depth of color, and even its brushstrokes, which are applied by hand. The antique gold-toned, imported hardwood frame includes a brass museum plate etched with the title and artist’s name.

By far one of my favorite paintings of all time… It depicts Odysseus (my favorite Greek hero) tied to the mast… and yet with eyes and ears vulnerable to the temptations of the sirens rising from the sea… bidding Odysseus to partake in their deadly delights….
An even more shameless widescreen wallpaper version of the previously posted work that was further modified to express themes I related to at the time.
Here’s another piece I made a few years ago… It’s a shameless photograph of myself that I stylized to fit the feeling I felt that the photo should express .
